Sweet

This is little blouse I made not too long ago. But with the way my little weeds grow over here, it will be handed down to our lovely little cousin for her to enjoy next summer. I think this fabric is perfect for spring/summer months on top of the fact that it is a yummy color. Reminds me of popcicles.

What's in a Name?

This is one of my latest creations. They are actually magnets about 2" square. I had a fun time designing and creating this little project. I thought it was a good alternative to the plastic letters we are all familiar with. The child is able to learn to recognize their name. A further challenge would be to scramble the letters up and ask the child to put them in the right order. I was just talking with a friend yesterday who said that she was trying to help her little girl learn to spell her name with sidewalk chalk. Since children are such concrete thinkers any form of learning that incorporates two or more of their senses gives them a greater advantage to retain what they learn. Thus, anything that is tactile or easily manipulated helps the information to be imprinted in their brains giving them the advantage of being able to more easily recall what they learned later. I have made quite a few of these in different varieties and given them as gifts.

I had great fun making this little bag. It is soft and durable. It is, of course, very washable. I have it in my Etsy store as a Pay It Forward item. I would love for some one who is on the go and likes to travel light with their little ones that are still in need of diapering. You can find more details about this little number there. This "I-used-to-be-a-pair-of-jeans" denim tote still has a long way to go. It is re purposed and useful instead filling the dump. I took care in designing and sewing this thinking it would be great Dad-friendly baby gear.

You shouldn't have to tote Camouflage, John Deere Tractors, or Red Hot Chill Peppers Baby Gear to state your man hood is intact as you care for your little one. Simple stated, I go for practical and washable when it comes to kids!

Your little sweetie won't mind stepping out in style pressed and dressed to impress with this great "dog collar"!

It is designed to slip on and off. No velcro or buttons.
Totally washable. May need to be ironed to have the crisp look.

It is 13" around and will suit a small dog 6 - 10 lbs.
My little model "Toby" is still a puppy at 4 lbs, he would obviously need to be a bit bigger for it to fit just right.

So much fun and a lot less hassle than full dress.
